Update: AEDs in Ohio Schools

In a previous issue, we highlighted Dr. Terry Gordon, an Ohio cardiologist who is spearheading efforts to place AEDs in all Ohio schools. NHW recently received the following update from Dr. Gordon:

Our state initiative in Ohio is going very well, with over 2,200 schools having applied for an AED and 1,800 already approved. I will soon be going back to the legislators for the additional funding necessary to complete the task.

"Then, hopefully, we can encourage other states to follow in this most noble mission--saving the lives of our most precious resource, our children. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. Thank you for your support."
