Robert O. Bonow, M.D.
I immediate past president of the American Heart Association for 2002-2003, Goldberg Professor of Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Cardiology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Dr. Bonow is recognized for his research and teaching in a variety of cardiac diseases, including coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, and heart failure. He has authored or co-authored more than 300 published papers. He serves on the editorial boards of 12 medical journals including Circulation, Journal of the American Heart Association.
